CFC Youth Camp

Dear Parents and Friends in Christ:

Peace be with you!

CFC-Youth wish to invite your child/children or your friend's children to attend a youth camp on November 5,6 & 7, 2010 at Mollala Retreat, Mollala, Oregon.

The Youth Camp is the entry point to the CFC-Youth, a youth ministry of Couplesfor Christ. It is an experience that will allow your child/children the opportunity to know Jesus Christ in a personal way and build Christian friendships with other young adults both in High School and in College levels. This will be achieved through a program consisting of talks and personal sharing by our young adults, as well as fun-filled activities utilizing the talents and skills of the participants. In the process, it will enable your child/children to develop a deeper understanding of God’s love and set a foundation of unity among peers and as well as a stronger family bond.

The success of this program largely depends on your involvement, especially after the camp. Together we can help support and provide the youth the proper tools in their walk of faith and eventually have that fulfillment that is only found in Christ. In this regard, we would like to invite all parents of the participants, as well as the parents of the CFC youth service team, to join us in fellowship on the last day of the camp, Sunday, November 7, 2010 at 11:00am to be officiated by our very own Fr. Cary Reniva.

The camp fee for participants and members will be $48.00(incl. 4 meals). *Please note only snacks will be served on the first night of the camp. Registration for the youth camp will be from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. of the first night, which will be Friday, November 5, 2010.

Please have your child bring the following provisions:

*Clothes for 2 days

*Sleeping Bag, pillow, blanket and toiletries

*Writing materials such as pen and paper

*Bible

*Snacks will be provided, though they can bring their own.

We are looking forward to seeing you and your child/children at the camp. Any questions or need for additional information, please feel free to contact us. Thank you and God Bless.

In His Service,

The Couple Coordinators

JO KOY in Portland

It is a rare occasion that we get Fil-Am celebrities performing in Portland, and we actually have a fabulous comedian coming to the Aladdin Theater on October 16th.

Unfortunately, his performance is in conflict with FAAPVi's Ms. Philippines Coronation night -- however -- for those young'ns who are available and not attending the Coronation Dinner Dance, here's a GREAT OPTION, and you will not be disappointed.

Here are a couple of his clips:
