Funeral Service for Norma Margaret (Mae) Europa

Dear Friends,

Happy autumn! This afternoon, looking through the windows, it always amazed me on the beauty of the colorful autumn leaves on the trees in our backyard. The birds were devouring the left over fruits on the branches of the trees as though they were feasting. They flew in different formation as though they were putting a show just for me. I bet, they were also singing and praising our loving God with all the tweeting I heard in the pleasant atmosphere. We are so blessed to have four seasons in the northwest.

About two weeks ago, one of the Carmelite nuns visiting from the Philippines was in such awe when I brought her at The Grotto. Even though the climate was a little cold for her, she enjoyed the scenery because of the lovely landscape, the tall pine trees, and the colorful leaves. Everywhere we turned, the view is like what you see on the postcards. The little fog here and there and the rays of the sun peeking through, it felt so serene like in heaven and we could not help but to give praise and glory to our God.

In the calmness of our souls sometimes there are tragedies that come in our ways. One of the young adult parishioner at Holy Trinity passed away a week from this Friday. Norma Margaret Europa is fondly known as Mae by everyone. She is the youngest child of MarJoe and Helen Europa and RJ is her only brother. Mae is every parent’s dream as a daughter. She is pretty, loving, very active, has a joyful spirit and most of all she has a strong faith. Her untimely death shocked everyone in her family. She graduated from Aloha High School last year and just turned 20 years old two days before she died. Her funeral service schedule is as follows:
