Save the dates:On Saturday, May 23, 2009, at 11:00 AM, at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in downtown Portland, one of our seminarian at Mt. Angel Abbey/Seminary, Rally Bien will be ordained as a deacon . We plan to have a Thanksgiving Potluck Reception for him on Sunday, May 24th, 2009 at Holy Trinity Parish after the 11:15 AM mass in the Fireside Room. Fr. Dave Gutmann will celebrate the 11:15 mass and Rally will serve as a deacon for the first time. God's willing, Rally's brother priest from the Philippines might come and will concelebrate.
